Music
Listen, read and discover music, with real sounds and pictures of staves.
What you practise
- Listening: which sounds higher or lower, louder or softer, longer or shorter, and whether a tune goes up or down.
- Rhythms: choosing which of several pictured rhythms is the one that played.
- Reading music: the names of the notes on the stave, note values and the beats in a bar.
- Instruments and their families, and music words such as forte, piano or allegro.
How it adapts
The sounds are made on the spot and never play by themselves: you hear them when you press. The difficulty rises with age and with the levels, and the answers can always be told apart.
